Just got back from a dealer because I had to purchase some more items for my transmission and just to let you know if you own BMW X5 I was told that my car test 12 years warranty against rust there was one honest dealer and pointed out to me that I had some rust on the inside of my door right under the seal and this will be taking care of under the warranty after getting two quotes they found more rust under the seals inside the door and they agreed to replace all four doors for free since they cannot be repaired because the rust is on the middle part right where get two parts of the door are welded this part is usually covered by caulking their whole repair will cost BMW over $11,000 my cars 2005 so needless to say besides hopefully getting my transmission being fixed this weekend I have scheduled an appointment with them next week to get the doors done I just wanted to let you guys know so if you don't know about the warranty against the rust that BMW is offering so check your doors on inside if there is a little even bubbling under the paint you're covered and they have to repaint your doors or change the doors altogether on top of it they said it most likely they going to have to paint the rest of a car to match the paint that doors will be painted because the car is 10 years old now, this is just a little tip in case if you guys didn't know it's actually in the car your car manual showing 12 years warranty regardless how many miles do you have on your car as long as you didn't have any paint job done before on your car I will keep you posted as far as my transmission project that I'll be doing over the weekend and let you know if it's fixed my heart gear switching and getting Falls safe sounds transmission light on when accelerating very quickly or turning Sharp right end gear is holding and number one before switching to two
