you are she can go to your BMW dealer and tell them that you want to have all your software updated including your transmission module software some people update only transmission module software but keep in mind that the engine computer is communicating with transmission computer so therefore is better to update both of them since stay eliminate some of the glitches that were existing prior to that my dealer charged me $150 to update all the computer system and transmission module as well trust me it Is worth it if you changing the fluid and the filter you might as well look at the previous posts and spend additional 70 bucks to purchase some of the rubber seals that are between transmission and the gearbox overtime they getting hard her and are not keeping the pressure okay transmission fluid that is essential to your gear switching I just purchase rubber seals including the electric connector sleeve I had similar issues to yours my parts are coming on Friday I will most likely do this over the weekend thank you to you guys posted so far others had great results after changing the rubber seals between the gearbox and the transmission
