Smokey's 4.6is Journal

Howdy all,

Thanks for checking out the journal of my 4.6is. Will post some pics later but here is a quick run down.

03 4.6is Estroil Blue, Black sport interior 134k
Pulled the car fax car has been a CA/AZ for most of it's life, little stint in UT. Super clean car for being 14 years old. Guy that delivered was blown away it was a 03 let alone what I paid for it. Will be my weekend/family car and stay tucked in the garage for the most part.

Some maintenance that was on the carfax.
-Basic service done through it's life
-Radiator replaced, new brakes at 123k
-Alternator replaced at 124k

Things I need to do. No special order.
[X] Replace Battery (Picked up a Autocraft AGM battery From Advanced gotta love 20% coupon for online orders)
[ ] Service diffs
[ ] Service T case
[X] Oil service
[X] Fix interior lighting (Got some burnt out bulbs and I want to upgrade to LED's)
[ ] Get paddle shifters working (Someone put a SMG wheel at some point but paddles don't work, feels awesome though)
[X] Service tranny (filter and fluid)
[X] Fix rear cargo cover or just ditch it (Doesn't like to slide and rattles a ton)
[X] Search for squeak coming from front (Thinking maybe a strut bearing)
[X] Fix windshield wipers, fluid doesn't spray. I think the line is clogged
[X] Fix dead pixel display on ODO (Found a local guy but open to others)
[ ] Recondition leather on front seats, very minimal wear and should be a simple fix
[ ] Dinan software, upgrade tranny and stage 1
[ ] Replace rear Roundel
[X] Source some interior parts
[ ] Paint wood accents (I want to do estroil blue and silver)
[X] Fix side marker turn signals
[X] Add aux input

Other big ticket items that hopefully will happen later rather than sooner
[ ] Full suspension refresh with coil conversion
[ ] Timing chain guides
[X] New tires

Pretty sure the list will be ever expanding. Now just need to figure the way to balance the bimmer and jeep budgets!

Cheers!
