The best coding mod for an X5 in my opinion if you have xenons

I have seen this covered in sections on here but it took me awhile to really confirm it before trying it.

My X5's bi-xenon bowls are toast basically and don't put out the best light in the world.

I got around this on low beam by putting LED headlight bulbs in the driving lights. So with them on I can actually see on low beam at least.

But since they cut off when I go to high beam my light output actually was cut in half when I flipped the high beams on.

I just coded this in ncsexpert

High beams on with bi-xenon (LCM)

PWM_FL_BIX - wert_01 (Changed)

Mine was set to wert_02. By changing it to wert_01 when I now turn on my highbeam lights my xenons go to the high position and then the high beam halogen lights kick in. Pardon the pun but its a night and day difference. I doubled my high beam light output.

Best coding mod Ive done to date. Well worth the effort.

Again I know it was covered in parting in other threads but this one was big enough to be worth its own spot.

This will save me having to buy the reman active xenon replacements for a bit now and at $600 each for the remans of these that's $1200 saved for a few minutes coding.
