I used NiCop and new fittings; bought most of them here:

3/16" Tube Archives - AGS Company AGS Company
Unions Archives - AGS Company AGS Company

I think the fittings are 10mm and 12mm ISO flare, which looks like a British bubble flare with a flat back. I bought a bag of 10ea, as I didn't know how much I'd be replacing.

I also bought this tube straightener from this company:

The hot-rod guys uncoil the tube by forcing it into the bottom of the "V" made from a pair of 2x4s. Never tried that.
