I did something similar with my e70 seats. Went from base seats to sport seats and had to transfer over some components.

The frame itself was all the same but the bottom cushion had a separate piece for the thigh extension.

So in order to create a hybrid sport/comfort you would need the foam, bottom cushion frame and new leather cover.

Finding these parts used would be almost impossible especially in the 4.8iS leather pattern which I think realoem shows it as M-Leather.
