Actually, you need a SCO Linux VM for DIS. Most people run DIS on a VM using VMware Workstation, often running on Windows XP. This is what I have.
I guess you could run a late (meaning paid not free) version of VMware Workstation on Windows 10 and then run the SCO Linux VM in that but I wouldn't try running an XP VM on Win10 then running a Linux VM inside the XP VM... that would not work.
The easiest DIS to get up and running is EasyDIS V.44 - there's lots of info on this out there. But you need some pretty high-level computer skills to get this going, unless you get a fully configured setup from someone (laptop, cables etc., all pre-set up).
