Most post ~2001ish BMW cooling systems use very few mechanical (worm style) clamps. Most are the push on style locking clips that come with a new hose. The only exceptions being some of the smaller hoses. Can't say I've ever replaced them unless some wrench jockey had replaced them with the non-rolled edge versions (cheap versions). BMW uses rolled edge worm clamps which do not prematurely wear out the hose. I have a pile of BMW worm clamps that I've picked up from the junkyard that gets dipped into most times I pick up a "new" used BMW of older age.
