Yep, nothing wrong with that Xtrons unit. I believe Prop has one in the E46 or E39... LOL or E53. Can't remember which.

You can remove the dvd player, cd changer, tcu (Bluetooth module) from the cubby hole but you have to leave the amp if non dsp or the dsp if dsp.
You can remove the radio module by the battery.
The only part that has to stay for a normal android install is whatever amp the car came with.
