No need to use penatrant usually and it would mess up the torque of install if there is lube on the threads. If one is stuck yes penatrant but clean the oil off the threads before install or you will overtighten the plug.

Normal torque values don't apply but when I found a size that matches the torque of a spark plugs the lubricated torque is 5 ft·lb less

@cn90's method above is a good one.
