ok guys, which Permatex do you reckon I should use to seal the gap?:

1) Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker
2) Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, Maximum Oil Resistance - Ultra Black
3) Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, Multi-Purpose - Ultra Blue
4) Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, Rigid High Torque - Ultra Grey
5) Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, Maximum Temperature - Ultra Copper

All of these are available in my local auto store. Of course I kind of would like to get the gunk off when I do replace the VC gasket.
