Update:

I went ahead and did the seals later in 2017 when I was doing other gaskets. That would have been after the NorthEast summer road trip that year which was about 5k miles. I could look it up, but I would guess that I had about 115k when I elected to do the seals before there was a problem.

I'm at 136k now. No problems. These things love to be maintained.
