I think the key here is the miss went away when you swapped the plug, injector and coil and the problem with the transmission went away.

Sometimes there are failures of the same part and since you have already addressed that possibility with replacement it is logical to believe the problem must be something else and not consider the same part(s). It happens even with new parts right out of the box.

I suggest swapping just the coil to another cylinder. If the problem doesn't move to that cylinder then swap the plug. If the problem doesn't move then swap the injector. If the problem never moves to another cylinder you know it is not those components then it is on to other troubleshooting to find the core issue.

Or, contact our resident transmission expert PPhil for input before you try anything else if you feel the transmission is causing the miss.
