Keep burning TCMs..

Hey guys,

I did some transmission valvebody replacement job recently and now I keep frying TCMs!. Basically there is no crank and no start. Also, there is no gear display in instrument cluster. I have already replaced one TCM and car was back to normal for a week and then I burned another one with same symptoms.

I have checked all the fuses including the ones inside the DME box (all 30 Amps) and they are all good. Thinking about the process, I remember the Oil level sensor (at the bottom attached to pan) cables were slightly in bad shape but wouldn't that suppose to blow a fuse instead (From what I am reading Fuse 5 related to oil level sensor and TCM?) of keep burning the modules?

I have another TCM that I can put on but I am worried that would be also dead quickly..

Thoughts?.

Thanks,

Ozzie
