crystalworks is on a distinguished road
Okay, have not done any diagnostics as I am waiting to get the wife's x35d out of the garage. Just got the trans valve body back from being rebuilt for that so it will go in tomorrow and I'll put the front end back together (headlight work).

So in the meantime I decided to proactively do some parts ordering. Rather not need it and have it than need it and not have it sort of thing. Bought this whole assembly for $100. Supposed to be tested and working. Supposed to be. I bought it for the valve/solenoid assembly as a new part is $450 and if that turns out to be the problem, having a good used unit is usually a good idea.
