I'll be careful, it's pretty much downhill all the way there, going from 2,400 elevation to sea level. Taking it in the morning, when it's cool.

I had to drive it to Palm Springs (hot) even in the a.m. and it did okay. Amount of coolant lost since I noticed the leak is 16 ounces. I used a water bottle to measure 1/2 and 1/2 coolant (BMW brand) and water. Didn't know I was supposed to use distilled, hopefully 8 ounces of tap water mixed in didn't hurt anything.
