If you want to permanantly remove the swirls I would probably go with these steps.

Wash the car, clay it so you get all the contaminants off the car, then I would use a Porter cable with the right cutting pads and go with these steps.

1. Menzerna Power Gloss with a cutting pad/heavy cutting pad
2. Menzerna Intensive Polish light cutting pad/cutting pad
3. Optimum Polish/Adam's Revive Polish polishing pad
4. A good coat of wax Adam's Butter Wax, Optimum Spray Wax, Zaino, P21S whatever you like.
