P1093 BMW Meaning
Pre-Catalyst Fuel Trim Too Rich Bank 2 is the generic description for the P1093 Bmw code, but the manufacturer may have a different description for your model and year vehicle. Currently, we have no further information abouth the P1093 Bmw OBDII code.
Notes:
-I do not have any warning lights on in my dashboard.
-Sometime I smell gas in the back of the car (driver side) when I park the car.
-I do have an appt with a BMW mechanic on 6/17.
Question:
Should I be concerned? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

One possible cause is the MAF is underreporting the amount of air that is passing through it. Even though the MAF may appear to be good, you really can't tell by appearance. The resistance or OHM setting of the MAF is more important than the physical appearance. You can read the amount of air passing through the MAF in real-time data if you have a decent scanner. Post the data (g/s) don't use any other units like lb/hours. I'm not going to do the conversion for you. If you do decide to replace the MAF don't buy that cheap crap sold on eBay or Amazon. Buy a genuine Siemens MAF.
