BMW first programmed in a cooling cycle but it killed the battery. First BMW paid for new batteries every year and then they decided to stop the cool down cycle (where it would run the aux fan after shut down to cool the engine).

My concern is cooling the turbo bearings. Idle is prob the best mode for that.
