If covid were seriously deadly. Not ~1.64% deadly (used Maruzo's stat, didn't look that up). Getting people to take the shots would not be an issue. They'd be lining up for days.

But let's face it, CV19 is not going to be the end of humanity, with or without the vaccines. Let those who wish to roll the dice, to do so. The knowledge is now out there to protect you and yours, let others evaluate the data as they see fit. Hah, they might prove to be geniuses if the rest of us die off in 10 years from some sort of weird effect. I know that's extremely unlikely, it's a joke. Hopefully.

Even with 100% vaccination >12YO the virus won't just disappear. Still plenty of <12YO hosts out there. Vaccinated can still transmit it, and the potency of that wears off according to the data. Boosters will be necessary... this is a long haul thing, if not permanent like the flu, not something we can eradicate. People on both sides of this bickering back and forth as if either has a crystal ball is seriously draining. Personally and on a national level.
