Some of the Dinan mods have been discontinued. At that time there were suspension and exhaust mods as well. With the exhaust, cold air box, larger throttle body, tune, larger MAF and transmission software the HP went from 340 to 369 HP at 5700rpms. The torque improved from 364 to 382 at 4500rpms. The engine software increased redline to 6500rpms. The trans software, that is a must have, great value, IMO, changes shift points and makes them faster and firmer and adds a complete manual mode-it won't shift until you shift it. I considered headers but I thought the price was crazy. I installed electric cutouts instead.

The 4.4 stock was 282hp at 5500rpm and torque was 335 at 3500rpms, compared to the stock 4.6 at 340hp at 5700rpms and torque at 355 at 5700rpms, a big fun difference.

By bottom end I meant the bottom end of the engine which I think is almost bulletproof. The 4.6 should have already had the longer runner intake from the factory, the 4.4 didn't. With the Dinan mods the engine pulls all the way to 6500 redline.
