It's not an M badge, the 4.6is badge pretty much just signified the engine. The other changes were fairly trivial even to more diehard enthusiasts. Diff ratio changes, interior options, some various features and supposedly a continuously seam-welded chassis (which besides the engine is the biggest difference in a true "is" model vs non-is)

Use dental floss to remove the old badge, goo gone to remove the residue, clean the area properly, use an adhesion promoter if you are feeling particularly "proper" and slap the badge on

edit: just saw you have it applied already - I like that you didn't do the "is" and just the 4.6i, that is very OE in my opinion. Very nice
