Update 3
Thanks for the tip about transmission fluid!
I replaced the eccentric shaft motor with a spare I had, taught the stops and the car fired up. I only ran it a few seconds because the partially disassembled engine was spewing oil and coolant everywhere.
A bad eccentric motor shouldn’t cause a no start. I’m thinking the combination of eccentric motor, crazy cold temperatures and tired spark plugs caused the flooding.
I broke another bolt removing the valve cover so I’m working on fixing that and the previous one I broke, then I’ll reinstall the valve cover and replace the plugs. See what I have then.
