Front Bumper Fascia Removal on 2008

My buddy Dave hit a deer with his 2008 X5 4.8 in rural southern Oregon two weeks ago. The deer is kaput but the X5 only suffered a slightly bent inward corner of the diver side front bumper. I do not have access to BMW TIS.

I would like to remove the Front Bumper Fascia to inspect the metal damage underneath, and maybe hammer it back into position. Is anyone aware of a published procedure on how to get the front fascia off? The body shops in Portland are backed up for weeks, even for an estimate.

I called the dealer parts department to see if there were any needed one-use fasteners. like plastic rivets or push-pins; he said "no" but not a confident "no", more like a go away now kind of "no".
