Well I finally tried it. Wasted 2 seats lol.
I wanted articulating back, and thigh support bottom.

First of all, sport seats have some weird gears connected to the backrest, and you cannot actually disconnect them. I ended up just cutting off the metal piece that connects then with a cut off disc.

Then I tried adding articulating backrest to the bottom of the sport seat, and the bolt positioning is not the same, they don't line up, not even close.

So while I've done this on E38/E39 seats, I failed miserably and destroyed 2 perfect seats of seats
