Ike, I know you don't want to... but I highly recommend that you clay and polish your ride as soon as possible and not the end of the summer. Riding around for three months with 101 road grime and tar, SF Bay sap and pollen, Donner Pass road salt and Tahoe dirt, soot, ect bonded to your dark colored X is only going to kick you in the butt later. The clay process is 30 minutes tops and will make the paint smooth as a baby's bottom. Afterwards the polish and wax will go on and off like talcum powder and you will only have to wash your ride during the summer with no worries until the rainy season... try the hood.

spoken like a true salesman. what kind of clay bar did YOU use? i want my car to be like a baby's bottom too.
