Late to the thread, but it's been covered many times in the past...
no detail xpert, but the key imo, is to get the rocker panel,wheel well,
front air dam "plastic trim" clean when washing car.

Then take you pick from a plethora of products; I currently use
Meguiar's Natural Shine, (my local low rent AZ carries it):

And, I sometimes use Stoner's Trim Shine, aerosol...

I apply the Meguiar's in modest amounts onto an old sock "toe",
and I am very careful to keep it off the paint.

I smooth it with a clean sock/towel and less is more, imo.
Seems to last many days, if no rain...

I have heard great stuff about Black Wow, but too lazy
to order it off the net.
