So far, I have only added mud flaps, which seem to do a pretty good job of keeping the wet slop off of the X3's outrageous running boards. I just ordered a trailer hitch for both it's intended purpose and also to secure a bike rack as my days of throwing them on the roof are over (too much drag).
Other than that, I am considering those rain guards that permit one to open the side windows slightly even in a driving rain. I am less than sold as yet, but I keep eyeing them and waiting to see an X3 so equipped so I can see the aesthetics.
Finally, some basic OEM wheels and 4 snow tires, for easy swappage.
Oops, I almost forgot one "mod"... got those thirsty rubber interior floor mats. Those OEM woven rugs are just too fragile for a mud hog.
