The dealer I used was the one I purchased the X from who are 50 miles away. I went to a dealer close to me and they weren't interested in helping me with the issues I had.

As for the chipping on the steering wheel cover, I had exactly the same issue...I requested that it be replaced as part of the purchase agreement however on collection I noticed the had attempted to spray it...leaving a rough finish. I complained and they replaced the cover but the steering wheel was no longer straight. I didn't notice this until I was on the motorway so I had to re-visit them on another day which was extremely annoying.

When I complained about the steering wheel being crooked, they said it required a KDS alignment however, he was talking toff because eventually I spoke to the technician who said all that's required is the steering wheel cover to be removed and moved a notch until it's straight. I'm sure theres more to it but that was the base of it.
