I personally don't think it's too many miles. It is a shame that the warranty has already expired and that it is not a CPO (yet?), but I'm not sure what makes you think it's overpriced. There is no listed price and the current bid at $12,500 is certainly not overpriced! I'm not looking to get into a debate about the car, the reason for my post is that the color is spectacular and exceedingly rare and most likely was a special order. IMHO that is one of the nicest colors BMW has ever produced and hands down the nicest on any E53 X5. If I was looking for an X5 to keep then I'd look no further and just maintain it well going forward. You can add and replace anything on the car, but you'll never get that color on a repaint that's for sure.
