I disagree. Pushing back the calipers is fine, but you MUST open up the brake fluid reservoir to allow for the fluid to move, and it will. Doing it that way will not introduce air into the system. You don't want to open a bleed valve because that will introduce air into the system. You won't get dirt into the ABS because it is closed and open only when ABS gets activated or the dealer uses the diagnostic computer to open it up during a brake bleed. That's why you should have them bled properly at the BMW dealer.
