As far as error codes, I haven't done this myself (on my E53 X5) so I can't say for certain. But another user on here posted above that he had no errors at all. I also installed these on my E46 330ci and I have not had any error codes of any kind.
Looks like I finally may be going back to work full time soon, keep your fingers crossed for me! So assuming all goes well on the job-front, I'll have a set of these on a bit after New Years
