i have same problem..also slight buzzing on inside coming from right rear seat..when you give it gas is gets louder and when you let up it gets lower..i find it is louder on the outside in the cold weather months..i had fuel pump replaced by bmw but didnt really help much..just another unexplained issue with the ultimate driving machine which is really not that ultimate imo..rob
