I never really noticed or thought that the rear wiper arm on the e53 looked old or dated. I actually like how the oem blade tapers into the arm for a clean look on the e53. Putting an icon style blade on the back looks silly, imo. It is a much fatter, heavier looking blade. On top of that the Icons have a spoiler on it, which is pretty much useless on the back and looks out of place to me. I am not a fan of that Volvo arm either.

As far as function, my oem rear wiper works well. I have no complaints and at $2.81 per blade refil, I see no point of changing it.
