Anacman beat me to it, good call. I walked away from a perfectly good 740iL years ago because I didn't know what it was...at the time. The more time I spend on here, the more I see the same symptom that were happening to 5/7 cars of the mid/late 90's starting to happen to our early '00 X's. www.e38.org is a great site that has tons of links to many things that can and will start happening to M62 powered X's as well as time goes on.
