if you have the camber plates installed, then that means you have no alignment pin to maintain the location of the front struts once the top nuts are loosened or removed. chances are you will not need an alignment but the camber plate could move more in once those nuts are loosened. however, if you have yours set at max negative camber, then there is no place for the camber plate to slide anymore since you are at the extreme inside... just remove the nuts and add the bar if thats the case...

if your camber is not at max negative, i would recommend having an alignment check once you do it... you may not need to have anything adjusted, but just in case since there is a possibility that it moved...
