Best solution: Aftermarket dustless pads. There are tons of high performing trusted brands out their for our vehicles. You will never look back.

Temporary: Last summer I purchased a product from Michelin that claims to repel brake dust after you apply it to the wheels.Tire Care Products: Tire Care & Buying Guide: Michelin Tires it is the last product on the page.

Unfortunately I have not used it yet, so I cannot attest to its effectiveness. Applying it seems like a PITA. It says to spray it onto dry and cool wheels. Wait 15 seconds, then wipe dry.

There are also brake dust shields, but from what I recall they are very ugly and may cause squealing from vibration. Google it.

I wonder if anyone else has heard/used of other products for brake dust?

IMO, just get dustless pads for your next pad change over. There are mounds of threads on that.
