I have seen low dust pads from BMW on newer models (2012). Finally we can dispell the notion that black brake pad dust is a badge of honour.

I've found that if you just keep a hose by your vehicle and hose down the wheels just after driving them at least once every 2 or 3 days, the brake dust won't collect. You can actually see the black fall off the wheel with water. Not true if you leave it to bake on for a week+.
