The deal you make withe the devil/dealer when you buy that warranty is "I will always use the same tires".
Tire is free, put it on. Buy 4 new tires. You will not have a BMW tire warranty on those new tires I assume. (since they are not an OE tire for that rim, correct?)
You could save the old, good tire as an emergency spare, or sell it...

No, the Dueler RFTs are OEM along with the Sport Maxx (there are some 214 style rims with the Duelers on them out there)--so, the warranty still applies (have 3 years left on it). I am 99% sure I will just get all 4 new Duelers in a couple months. Yes, you put the same tire on it but I don't see any disadvantage in that even in this case scenario (of about to change to a different tire) it's not "costing" me anything theoretically.
