Bluetooth Snap-in Blackberry Storm 9500 X5 E53
 

Is a BMW Bluetooth Snap-in adaptor for my Blackberry Storm 9500 for use with my X5 E53 2006 available recent upgrade of phone from Sony K800i – will any existing E53 Blackberry snap-in adapters work – only want to safely hide the phone away and charge in centre arm rest as previous?

I haven't found any info that BMW has released any snap-in adapters for the last year (and that appeared to be the first gen iPhone). This vendor has a fairly complete list http://www.bimmernav.com/store/catal...s-item-96.html

Maybe someone with a BlackBerry will be able to advise you but if the size (or the connection) is different, it will probably not work.

I had contacted BMW a few months ago to see if they would have a snap-in adapter for the iPhone 3G and they had no info on that at all :( Here's the outdated BMW site where they list compatible phones and which have snap-in adapters http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/nav...commended.html

Thank you for your repsonse and update I will have to investigate older blackberry sizes & connections then? Richard
