Angry BMW of PLEASANT GROVE, Pleasant Grove Utah

just had an Ipod integration installed there into my X5 the sound is awsome. The service is so so. I originally bought the system thinking that i would install it, i like doing things like that, after 3 weeks without time decided i couldn't wait any longer. made an appointment and asked for a quote, $200 for installation, great ($400 total). went to my appointment, they gave me a loaner which was great because i was thinking of getting a 3 or 5 series to replace my current car. When i got back 3 hours later they handed me a bill for $530 bucks for installation!($730 total) i was surprised said that i got a quote for $200, the SA asked by who I told him their service department and i also got a quote from their sister store BMW of Murray (supposedly owned by the same owner) after that all he said was "well the new ones cost more" so i gave him my debit card after he came back i thought this is BULL and i told him so and that i wanted to see the service manager, he left and came back and said they could take off $234.38 i don't know if they couldn't afford to take off the other .62 cents to round it off or not and i am sure they didn't want to short change me the .62 cents even though they tried to charge me 250% of their original quote, by the way never saw the service manager must have been too busy, the entire store was empty (just opened). after i left i called to get a quote again now all they say is that it is $105/hour so i guess all you do is leave a blank check and hope that it isn't more then the car was originally. I wondered if it is $105/hour and BMW suggests 2.5 hours for this product with the DSP and they had it only 3 hours why were they charging me for over 4.5 hours work, i thought maybe they had another tech also, but there is only one tech on the invoice. Is this really a good way to do business? they just barely opened the P.G. store which I thought would be nice since it took me 5 weeks to get into for an oil change at their murray store last summer.
I have since decided to buy an Acura TL, I absolutely LOVE BMW vehicles and was ready to buy a 5 series, but I can't handle their service. I have decided to continue to get the oil changed at the dealer but I am looking for someone else that understands customer service to do everything else and I am torn on what I am going to do when I have to replace the X5, which to date is by far my favorite vehicle.
I hate the hit it and quit it style of salesmanship!

while I had my X5 there they also told me that both outer boots on my axle (CV Boots) where ripped and needed to be replaced, I thought it was odd that they both happened at the same time and told them not to worry about it since they wanted to replace them both, I just replaced my front brakes last weekend, my driver boot is torn, but my passenger looks like it is in perfect shape, has anyone ever had a dealer tell them they needed to have something replaced that didn't?, I just can't believe it, there is no way that a mechanic could possibly do this by mistake, they tried to cheat me. On another note I replaced my brakes with the Brembo rotors and the RED EBC pads, the pads brake really well, but I am getting twice as much dust then I did before (I haven't changed my back brakes yet) I need to also change my back brakes and was thinking of using Hawk pads any suggestions? I am going to change the front pads out as well, the idea was to get less dust not more.
