Daily driver sealant recommendation please.

Garaged nearly 100% of the time it isn't driven, but it sees Vegas heat/grit/etc.

I like the Sonnax 3/6 polish (though it is a bit sticky to remove -- like old school Zymol).

I plan on applying with my porter cable (old school one) random orbital polisher and a 5 inch pad (I forget which brand, but it is for final step protection).

I've used cQuartz on the E90M3. Would that be a good choice or is there something slightly more economical since the X5 isn't in 'perfect' condition.

sure thing you can use a coating if you like but we have been using this on daily driven cars every 3-6 months.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield.

^Sonax PNS is so easy to apply and remove, it lasts, and lasts a long time on wheels too!

best bet for headlights will be to go to your local clear film guy and have them wrap it, it can be done for $125 or so. This is the best way to protect headlights and keep them from yellowing.

Hi Guys, just browsed through 37 pages looking for tips on cleaning the seatbelts from years of use/abuse and only found one mention of dirty belts. I have beige belts and they need some serious attention. After spending hours getting the interior back in shape the seat belts look horrendous. I tried some upholstery cleaner and a brush but didn't really impress me. With all the detailing gurus on this thread surely someone has come across a set of belts like mine. If anyone knows of a proper cleaning method, I am willing to try and post pictures of the before and after. Thanks for some great knowledge on detailing the cars, a multitude of infomation on here. Thanks again!

Steam machine - wrap the head in the microfiber towel and scrub the. Let air dry. Spray some cleaner on them first and agitate with a bristled brush.

Great idea Ricky Bobby! I never thought of that, all I tried was scrubbing. Off to the store now to find a handheld steam cleaner. I will post pics before and after. Thanks for a great idea!
