Phil,
Question on anodized wheel's lip: Can I apply a sealant or will this chemically ruin the anodized lips? Any suggestions to keep the lips looking shiny? Thanks. Arjay

It's a set of Ray's Gram Lights 57pro. The company I bought them from is not sure and Ray Wheels site does not say much either. I also did a research on a few boards that said inner lips are anodized, face is cleared, and outer lip is titanium. If you look at the inner lip really close, you will see some light scratches. I figured you probably dealt with a few rides that have Rays/Volks wheels so I was just wondering what you normally apply to anodized lips. Thanks.

Hi Phil,
I just spent a day polishing our Mystic Blue BMW 3 series, without much success getting all the swirls out of the paint. I used Meguiars M8332 polish (similar to Menzerna Intensive Polish in cut) with a White polishing pad on a Porter Cable 7424. Do you suggest stepping up the polish or pad? Thanks a bunch! I spread it out with a 2.5 speed. Then, I broke it down with a 4.5 speed until the polish turned a milky haze.
Also, do you happen to have a shop that I can go to, now? |

P21S question................
I've just tried the P21S wheel cleaner gel on my painted wheels for the first time and have a question about how to use it.
I followed the instructions and sprayed it on the wheel and let it sit for 10 minutes, but it dried up. Does it still work while being dry? It says to let it sit on the wheel for up to 2 hours! Is that right? Do I have to wet it occasionally? How does it work? Thanks for your help! Last edited by FreddyG; 08-15-2009 at 12:41 PM. |
