make sure you wipe the excess off, it should help you remove some of the oils.

BMW's leather especially on the seats used most (drivers) don't hold up well.

I've seen cars with 20k miles that look worse.
I will do that.

The seats look a lot better than those photos indicate. It really is just the drivers side bolster that needs a bit of attention.

Thanks again for all your help.

By the way, the Einszett cockpit worked well for all the other interior bits. All that is left now is a good vacuum and the interior will be done. The next nice weekend we get I am going to try out the iron cut, then clay bar and reapply the Menzerna Power Lock. I used the Power Lock last summer and the water still beads up. It seems to protect for a long time.

I used the cleaner with a white micro fiber towel this time. I thought I got it clean before with the foam applicator, but the towel was clearly dirty after the second round. It looks a little more like the rest of the seats now. Thanks again for the advice.

Phil,

I know you have worked on a ton of Audis. What's your advice on cleaning these wheels? What products will make my life easier cleaning all the nooks and crannies of these 18" wheels?

Thanks!

Thanks Phil!

I already have your boar's hair brush, uber spoke brush, and uber wheel well brush. Do you use the Swissvax wheel brush for these wheels? I have been using P21S but I think it might be time to try the Sonax. I have noticed you have not been using P21S. Have you switched completely to Sonax?

yes you can use the SV wheel brush on lugs and tires.

We have made the switch to Sonax over 2 years ago.

I also switched to Sonax 2 years ago. Big difference. You will like it. Specially on the wheels you have. I buy in 5 liter packs. BMW rebrands the Sonax wheel products, at the dealer.

I have been meaning to order some Sonax for a long time but just too lazy. I should get the SV wheel brush too. These new Audi wheels are a bitch to clean, even with the Uber boar's hair brush.

Are you going to running an specials on Sonax soon? I'd order in some quantity, and actually need more Adams car wash too.
