Thanks Phil! So you would recommend a yearly correction for paint maintenance?

use your best judgement, if the car doesn't need it just wash and seal or wax. if you need to correct certain areas just do those areas that are in need of more.

Thanks Phil, makes much more sense! Probably after doing my yearly autoscrub I could most likely get away with just SF4000 and sealing it, as opposed to going through all 3 steps again.

The black window trims will need correction again, when I put my next order in I'll be getting the 3 inch pads/backing plate, the 6 inchers I use on the rest of the car work nice but the 3 inch will be best for the small areas where concentrated correction is needed (and I know you know how those glossy window trims can be!)

WINTER TIME RECOMMENDATIONS

OK Guys, here is question for you for my winter time detail.

I currently own the following waxes/sealants:

-Sonax Polymer Netshield
-Collinite 845
-Menzerna Power Lock

I'd like to use a combo of the three (say a layer of one, then a layer of another as a topper to really get a nice coating through winter), which would you recommend as a topper out of the 3 listed, and which ones recommended for a first coat?

I'm thinking on my wife's car (2011 Black Rav4 which sees many more miles than my X5):

-Collinite 845 x1 or x2 ultra thin coats (heard this doesn't need the cure time as Powerlock)
-Sonax Net shield as a topper

And on my X5:
-Powerlock x1 coat, given 24 hours cure time
-Polymer Net Shield on top of that

Any opinions?

All are great for winter months.

Personally,
I will be using Sonax Polymer Net Shield on my vehicles again this year.

I used it for the winter months on my cars and got great results, not need to top it with wax, all I did was every 3-4 weeks I washed and use Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer to give the PNS a boost.

Phil

Hey Phil, what products do you carry to help me remove hard water spots? on the glass. Is there a certain glass polish, or can i just use Menzerna SIP on an orange pad or something?

Can i use my P21s polishing soap on it? or will it cause small swirls?

what have you used so far on the glass, how long have the spots been on it?

The spots have been on there for a very long time. I have not used anything on the glass before. Sadly

Also thanks for the ChupaChupps that really made my day.

what did you on hand? more than likely they won't come out unless you use acid, can you try distilled vinegar.

SO ive been playing around and did some more researching: Cerium Oxide apperently is good stuff for glass polishing and its pretty cheap on amazon.

But in the garage i put some P21s polishing soap just on my fingers and its working great! I will upload pics as soon as phone finishes updating.

And sorry What do you mean by "what did you on hand?"
