stains on aero kit from exhaust

I washed the X today for the 1st time in 1.5 months (new) but the black stains on my aero kit under both exhaust pipes won't come off no matter how hard I scrub (with the sponge of course). Solutions?

you can try a clay bar and clay lube.

Thanks for the response, is this like putting wax on it and it somehow eventually comes off easier? Trying to understand how it will get stains out with a clay substance.

No, it's nothing like that.

Here's an article worth reading for more details: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-clay.html

Phil sells clay bar/s and lubricants.
