Unhappy scratches in side door

Does any one know how to fix scratches on side door? Because I have 2 scratches on side doors when I picked up my car(4 weeks old) at shopping mall parking area.

The scratch looks too deep to be polished out!
Try some harsh compound and polish/wax and see.Do this before you use any sand paper on there.

I have similar but shallower scrath on my steel grey (from backing into bushes), I was able to almost polish it out completely.

BUT...
I have access to polisher and Deflesko paint gauge to make sure I still have some clear coat left when I call it done.

I start with typical steps, wash the area, claybar, use Meguiar 105 with MF towel by hand a few times. If you have access to polisher you can try that as well. At the end you won;t be able to get rid of it completely but will be less obvious. Goo dluck.

just an idea

I had a MAJOR door ding that pushed in the metal, thanks Raychel. (she slammed her door open into mine, THEN pushed HARDER. It was gruesome.

Bought BMW touch up. {the factory paint is waterborne, you MUST use factory paint(BASF)} Comes with base and clear. (both are waterborne)

Took it to a top shelf body shop. They massaged the metal a little, touched it up, then brought it back down. The final repair was seamless and the price was 65.00.

If your scratch won't clean out, this might be an option.

That sucks...looks like a shopping cart went sailing or,
almost a key job. I park as far away as the lot allows.
Good luck on the fix.
