Spinneybeck vs. Zaino vs. Lexol leather care..

I've used all 3 and here is my $0.02. My '02 X5 has the Dakota leather, and definitely shows some wear.

Lexol: Left a light coating, I did not like it as the leather became more slick and unnatural. Smell was okay, did not make the leather feel any softer or hide any wear. The cleaner appeared to work very well at removing dirt though.

Spinneybeck - easy to apply, a little bit goes a long way, left a nice matte finish. Leather felt slightly softer, did not hide any wear. One very nice thing about it is that even if you overlap onto vinyl it does not show since it leaves a matte finish.

Zaino Z9/10 - easy to apply, but used the whole bottle of Z10 in 2 uses. Left an ok finish, not as nicely matte as Spinneybeck. But... the leather felt much softer, smelled better, and seemed to hide more wear (I'm assuming from the moisture content?).

Overall, I'm enjoying Spinneybeck right now but when I'm done I'll be going back to Zaino... I honestly feel it is the best for my leather.

nice little write up. When i bought my car, the edge of my drivers side leather was really worn. black shoe polish and lexol fixed it. And actually, 20k miles later, still looks great!

I have been periodically conditioning my leather, i think i'll try the zaino!

I'm fairly confident that once you try the Zaino Z10 you won't care for Lexol's conditioner anymore!
