I would never ever go near a car wash and I would certainly not let the dealer near my motor either. Do you not have a mate who has a hose at his house.??? that you could use. If not then I would just wash it at your own house throw a couple of buckets of water over the car first to wet it. I would then wash the top part of the car always using the two bucket system. You do know the two bucket system ????and always use a lambs wool mit not a SPONGE never a SPONGE. I would then rinse the of the car with water. Refill you buckets with suds and the other with fresh water and continue to wash the remainder of the car using the two bucket system. Then rinse with a smuch water as required. Then dry the car.

Question Meguires VS Zaino??

Hi there,
I have just used a turtle wash and wax results just average some buff swirls etc on a Mystic Blue. I have access to Zaino products to do myself or my car detailer uses Meguires really concerned to get best result also what window cleaning method is best as the the front glass is almost impossible to get right always has some after spray from windex products after I go out in the sun. Am I best to get the whole car Megires detail done by an expert detailer or struggle with the Zaino kits

Either one, up to you. Personally I go Zaino all the way (wash, wax, spritz, leather cleaner) and I don't think it's a struggle at all. Dry with microfiber towels (some people use a leaf blower, believe it or not!) BTW, use Stoner's glass cleaner -- smells bad, works awesome. Apply it with crumpled newspaper.

But to answer the original question, I'm not that anal about washing the car and have put it through the car wash. It doesn't seem to bother the Zaino finish much if it was a recent application.
