Stumpy, that's just wrong! Clearly Ford stole the design (the y-spokes aren't that much different than previous X5 wheels..).

But you may have ruined those wheels for me. But then again, the 21's are just 5-stars that you see used by dozens of other car makers.

Y Spoke Wheel are $428 each (Front) and $448 each (rear)
Val Stems $39.68 for all 4
Tax $107.50

Total $1899.18 (Wheels Only)

Tires (Dunlop Sport)

$467 each (Front)
$489 each (Rear)
Mount/Balance $125.95

Total package: $4055.85

Don't buy the dunlops unless you want to replace your tires every 7-10k miles.

Gee, I saw them as 19's on a Ford GT, they had a little BBS on them...

Other suggestions were Continental, Michelin Diamaris or Yokohamas. Very few that make 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear tires.

I love the style 128 21" wheel but can't find it listed for the UK market - any prices??

Failing that the 20" Y spoke Focus wheels will have to do!

BTW: Saw a black 3.0se BMW demo outside the Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise last week - thankfully the car was'nt as big as I feared it may have become and looked awsome. Nit picking, the 19" wheels were just too small and the round exhausts looked a bit out of place. Hopefully an aftermarket exhaust will soon be available for the 3.0 that mimics the 4.8 squarer tail finish.

There is a great review by I believe bostonx5blue or something to that regard on the Micheline Touring HPs, the tires I myself bought. I have to honestely tell you they are the best tires I have ever owned. Absolutely amazing. It's like everything you ever wanted in a tire all put together in one package. You don't even have to buy snow tires for the winter.

BTW 315/35/20 in the rear and 285/40/20 in the front. Fits the OEM 20s great.
